The five tiers

Find the right depth of engagement.

Each tier stacks on the last. Start with a diagnostic, move into strategy, graduate to full advisory — or join The Grove for the long haul.

The Sapling

Business Health Diagnostic
$1,500–$2,500 · 2–3 weeks · 8–12 hrs

A short, focused audit of your business. What’s working, what’s quietly breaking, what to fix first.

  • Financial health snapshot
  • Operational bottleneck review
  • Top-3 priorities memo
  • 1-hour debrief call

The Maple

Foundation & Strategy Build
$5,000–$8,500 · 4–6 weeks · 20–30 hrs

  • 12-month strategic plan
  • KPI dashboard & review cadence
  • Pricing & margin analysis
  • Go-to-market refinement
  • 2 working sessions

The Oak

Systems & Scale

The Grove ✦ — Monthly Retainer

$2,500–$5,000/month · Ongoing, month-to-month

For owner-operators who don’t need another project — they need a steady hand every month. Same-day replies. Quarterly business reviews. Judgment on whatever’s in front of you.

  • Weekly 45-minute working call
  • Same-day reply on decisions via email/text
  • Quarterly deep-dive business review
  • Ongoing KPI review & accountability
  • Access to all Orbaful templates & frameworks

Four steps. No mystery.

01 — Discovery Call

A free 15 minutes. You tell me what’s really going on. I tell you honestly whether I can help.

02 — Health Assessment

A structured look at the books, the operations, and the people. No magic. Just the questions a sharp outside eye asks.

03 — Strategic Roadmap

A plan you can run on Monday — not a 60-page deck. Priorities, owners, dates, and the measurements that matter.

04 — Implementation

Pick the tier. I stay in the trenches with you until the changes are real, not theoretical.

Book a free 15-minute call.

No pitch. No slide deck. You tell me what’s actually going on in the business. I’ll tell you — honestly — whether I can help, which tier fits, and what it would look like.

Questions owners actually ask.

Which tier is right for me?

Almost everyone starts with The Sapling. It’s the lowest-risk way for both of us to learn whether we’re a good fit, and it produces a real deliverable either way.

How is Orbaful different from a typical small-business consultant?

Two things. First, I actually run operations every day — I’m a Project Manager at a Micron semiconductor fab. Second, I use AI tools aggressively to move faster. You get the analysis of a much bigger firm at a much more honest price.

Do you work with businesses outside Idaho?

Yes. Most of the work is remote. I’m based in Star, Idaho, and local clients get in-person time. Everyone else gets the same attention over Zoom.

What’s the minimum commitment?

The Sapling is 2–3 weeks. The Grove retainer is month-to-month — no long-term contract. I’d rather you leave because you’ve outgrown the work than because you’re locked in.

Do you sign NDAs?

Always, before any numbers or proprietary information change hands.

What industries do you specialize in?

Construction, trades, light manufacturing, and services businesses — anywhere operational rigor matters more than a pretty pitch deck.
